How this works

Getting up to date is easier than you expect

01 / No judgement

We have seen it all

Illness, a business that got busy, an accountant who disappeared. Whatever the reason, we just focus on getting it fixed.

02 / One quote

Fixed price for the lot

We scope every outstanding year and quote the whole catch-up as one fixed fee, in writing, before any work begins.

03 / ATO handled

We deal with the ATO

As your registered agent we see exactly what the ATO has on file, manage lodgement, and request penalty remission where appropriate.

The process

How it works

01

Tell us where things stand

A rough picture is enough: what kind of business, and how many years you think are outstanding. We check the rest with the ATO.

02

We scope and quote

We confirm exactly what is outstanding and send you one fixed-fee quote for the full catch-up.

03

We prepare every return

Your accountant works through the years in order, reconstructing records where needed and checking in when anything is unclear.

04

Review, lodge, done

You review and approve, we lodge the lot with the ATO, and you are back on track.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about overdue returns

How much does it cost to catch up?

It depends on how many years are outstanding and the state of your records, so we quote each catch-up individually. The quote is a fixed fee, in writing, before any work begins, and multiple years are cheaper together than priced one by one.

Will I be penalised for lodging late?

The ATO can apply late lodgement penalties, but getting up to date voluntarily puts you in a much better position than waiting. Where there are genuine reasons for the delay we can request penalty remission on your behalf. We cannot promise outcomes, but we can make the strongest case available.

How many years can you handle?

As many as are outstanding. Two years or ten, the process is the same: we confirm the list with the ATO, quote it as one job, and work through it.

I have lost records for some years. Is that a problem?

Usually solvable. Bank statements, ATO records and software history let us reconstruct most of what is needed. We tell you exactly what is missing and how to get it.

Will you judge me for being this far behind?

No. Overdue returns are one of the most common situations we deal with. The only thing that matters is getting you back on track.

What if the ATO is already chasing me?

Engage us and we become your registered agent, deal with the ATO directly, and let them know a catch-up is underway. That alone usually takes the pressure off.

Ready to get back on track?

Tell us where things stand and we will send you one fixed quote for the whole catch-up. Confidential, judgement-free.
